Exaggeration of Wall Street's Ethics

Many have alleged that Wall Street's ethics can be best summed up as "Willing to sell their mothers for a nickel."

This is exaggeration. The more accurate assessment would apparently be "Willing to sell everyone else's mother for a nickel."
